Gilbarco Veeder-Root Gas Dispenser

The Challenge:
DW's challenge was to realize significant improvements to Gilbarco's primary dispenser platform. Goals included speeding the fueling interaction process and redefining the product image.

Accomplishments:
• the scope of the redesign included many high value functional and visual updates including a fully redesigned interface layout, nozzle boots, sheet metal and canopy
• defined a softer contemporary aesthetic that is more inviting to the user and successfully enhances the ambiance of the forecourt space
• developed a centralized transaction area that improves the customer transaction throughput by 13% while offering a more pleasant customer experience
• the design direction offers many options that allow retailers to customize the product’s graphic content and brand identity
• achieved distinctive world class visual positioning for a world class corporation
• the Encore S has been very well received by the market with a very significant increase in dispenser sales for Gilbarco
