We are adept at bringing products to market through early and direct interaction with the OEM manufacturers and suppliers. The final product design, engineering and materials specification should reflect the selected manufacturers’ capabilities. DW is committed to moving our clients’ new products to market in a rapid and controlled process.

DW involvement can include:

• Qualifying manufacturers’ production and their
engineering capabilities
• Early manufacturer engagement and feedback in the
ID phase
• Designing to reduce shipping costs
• Creating early BOMs in order to meet program
costs target
• Working with our clients/suppliers’ in-house
engineering group
• Ensuring the correct mold design characteristic for
successful plastic parts
• CAD platform compatibility and geometry validation
and confirmation
• Tooling program build monitoring and progress reports
review
• First article inspection and approval through to
production parts support
• Extensive liaison and management experience with
both North American and offshore manufacturers
